Fishing in Poggy Bay
A cormorant with a freshly caught fish is watched intently by a seagull.
We came upon a lone heron in the Poggy Bay marsh and he headed across the channel for more separation.

My brother has several bird feeders that attract a large variety of birds. The addition of a pool has made his yard a favorite for the sparrows this year.

An egret waited patiently while I snuck closer to it during a visit to the Ice Pond.

Our evening visit to the pond on Monday disturbed the local mallard community. After waiting a half hour, they started coming back.
Our visit to Woodbury pond this evening brought us a view of the local loon contingent.

After my hummingbird feeder broke and the flowering plants seemed dull this year, I did not think we would see many birds. We did have a couple and after waiting with my camera for hours, we got lucky.
