A cormorant looking for something useful in the semi-turbulent waters of Fishers Island Sound off the southeastern Connecticut coast last week.

From several months ago on the Connecticut coast near Mystic, a gull grabbed something while we wandered along the shore line.

We visited the Connecticut coast this past week and found an egret exploring.
