Seven year dawn
The last day of 2006 dawned like this on the Connecticut coast. This image is the reward for waking up early, for having a steady hand, investing in nice photographic equipment, for parents who worked hard, sacrificed much, watched over you and let you go alone, sometimes at the same time.
Who called this meeting?
On the Connecticut coast last year; this was a post-Sandy day along a damaged shore. Perhaps this is what this group was discussing?
Coastline rocks
Log work
Culvert flow artform
Natural suds form patterns at the bog creek culvert.
Leaves a shadow
Welcome to the USA
A routine overhead view from our neighborhood: aircraft from Europe cruise at 30,000 ft (or so) westward over Maine.
Sunset over the bog
Last week, during one of our routine patrols around the beaver bog; less and less light on each day after work now.
Stillness on the pond
A quiet Sunday morning on Taylor Pond, Auburn ME.
