From the archive: a seagull watches over a dinghy during a foggy morning in March 1983 along the Connecticut coast. Originally, this image is from a slide transparency and only recently converted to digital (pardon the scratches).
Keel from the past
An image from thirty-one years ago from a marina on the Connecticut coast. Preserved on kodachrome and filed away at my parent’s house. It only takes time, a small device called a F2D 20-Super Film to digital converter, a computer, and Lightroom software to bring it back to life.

Seven year dawn
The last day of 2006 dawned like this on the Connecticut coast. This image is the reward for waking up early, for having a steady hand, investing in nice photographic equipment, for parents who worked hard, sacrificed much, watched over you and let you go alone, sometimes at the same time.
