One of the few times when quality equipment provides the quality image; with a 600mm lens on a tripod with digital camera capturing 24 Megapixels on autofocus, I just point and press the button. You can give me some credit at being set up by the pond but it was luck that brought the bird within 100 yards of my position.
That is not JUST another osprey view. That is a BEAUTIFUL, CLEAR, NEARLY CLOSE-UP, NEARLY PERFECT picture.
