An osprey attempts to catch lunch (came up empty) on a dive into Potter’s brook near Upper Pleasant pond in Litchfield, Maine. This was my first visit to the Webber-Rogers Farmstead Conservation Area, a property of the Kennebec Land Trust.

Nikon’s autofocus-group setting is my friend; you have to do your best to keep pointing at the target but technology does the focusing!
