The nuthatch usually is found poking around for insects on tree trunks, usually upside down. They will frequent bird feeders in winter, for obvious reasons, but this one we found at the feeder in June. A lazy boy.

While we were leaving the harbor for our fishing trip, this Caspian tern (we think) managed to grab a small fish as we went by.

After spending an afternoon trying to get a decent image of the barn swallows sprinting around the barn and field, I settled on this one perching on the garden fence.
